The CEO of Facebook,Mark Zuckerberg, plans to integrate the three main messaging services of the company: Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, in a unified structure, as reported by The New York Times (NYT).
The changes that the company plans to implement imply the unification of the messaging structure of the three applications, although Facebook, Instagram and WhatsAppthey would keep their use as independent applications.

The company also plans to introduce in all applicationsend-to-end encryption, which prevents unauthorized access to private conversations of users.
Although Zuckerberg has not specified the type of benefits that the changes will bring, two of the sources consulted have highlighted the involvement of users and new forms of advertising.
