Zero draw between Eibar and Getafe in a match marked by bad luck

The Eibar and the Getafe tied without goals (0-0) in Ipurúa and maintained their erratic streak of results in a clash marked by the bad luck of the gunsmith team, who found themselves with the sticks twice to lose their first victory of the course at home.

Both the set of José Bordalás and that of José Luis Mendilibar They met in one of the most dubious moments of the season for both of them. The team of the first, accumulated three consecutive games without winning, something strange in his Getafe. The second, without his audience suffers and it shows: he has not yet managed to score three points in Ipurúa in one go.

As a result of that need, Eibar came out to the meeting more plugged, with greater territorial control and with an occasion starring Pedro León, who met David Soria at the launch of a free kick. It would not be the only intervention by the Getafe goalkeeper, who throughout the 90 minutes stopped Eibar on several occasions to establish himself as the best of his team.

After Pedro León’s warning, five minutes later the opportunity came for Kike Garcia, who could not finish off an individual play by Muto.

Getafe’s response came shortly after, after a magnificent center from Allan Nyom who found no auctioneer. Eibar returned to the charge with a foul by Pedro León that Paulo Oliveira combed his head back without danger.

It was the last warning before one of the great occasions of the gunsmith team. Kike García had it, who in a first shot met David Soria and in the rebound, to an empty goal, he sent the ball against the crossbar.

The dominance of the locals was intense, but it did not materialize in a goal in those first twenty minutes and immediately afterwards in a counterattack Getafe gave another warning in a beautiful combination that Jaime Mata finished off point-blank and that Dmitrovic stopped very well placed. The Serbian goalkeeper then had to intervene in a poisoned free kick launched by the Uruguayan Mauro Arambarri.

They were almost the best minutes of Getafe, who survived before the break despite the attempts of Kike García and the good first 45 minutes of Muto and Bryan Gil, a nightmare throughout the opening act.

The Bordalás men still had another option before heading to the changing rooms. The Colombian Juan Camilo “Cucho” Hernández had it, who met with the outside of the network in an action that Kike García returned. Again, David Soria, saved Getafe.

The intensity of the first half dropped in whole in the second and, after a few nondescript minutes, Ángel woke up Getafe with a volley that did not surprise Dmitrovic. Jaime Mata increased Getafe’s chances of renting with a long shot in minute 77 and, from there, came the last push from Eibar.

On the horn, Sergi Enrich encountered the posts for the second time from the goal of David Soria. A free kick by Bryan Gil gave the Eibar forward the chance, who later, in the rebound, could not with the Togolese Djené Dakonam, savior of the Bordalás team after taking the ball under the goal.

In the end, Jaime Mata was able to give Getafe all three points, but Dmitrovic, in 94, saved one of the clearest chances of a team that left Eibar with a point and with the feeling of having been saved by the sticks.
