The music company Zalakadula returns this Christmas with more strength than ever to bring the family show to the scene of the Pérez Galdós Theater Pinocho by Zalakadula, which will be performed from December 28 to 30. It is a free adaptation of the classic The adventures of Pinocchio and in a fully Canarian production format, involving around thirty people, including actors, dancers, musicians and technicians, and a score of companies in the sector, which have been responsible for the construction of an original set and puppets , as well as the costumes and audiovisuals.

Besides having a live music band, 100,000 watts of light, 50,000 watts of sound and the most modern technology to form as a whole and under the direction of Luifer Rodríguez, a magical representation that will surely delight children and adults. Tickets can be purchased at the box offices and web pages of the Pérez Galdós Theater and the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, at affordable prices that range between 8 and 16 euros.

"This will be a hundred percent Zalakadula show, with a very eclectic, optimistic and fresh musical combination, with songs that range from Pixar songs to other rock songs, going through Queen or Tino Casal," explained the director, Luifer Rodríguez, at a peculiar press conference, in which some characters of the musical made an appearance.

"But, above all, we will tell a very funny story in which we emphasize the idea of Carlo Collodi that children, to mature and grow, had to consider studying to not be puppets of anyone," adds the director. In this sense, Rodriguez lamented that it is "a work very current, unfortunately, with that generation of young people who neither study nor work and people who want those television programs that do so much harm" and appealed to learn to grow, study and to cultivate a critical thought, which are the values that "we promote in a very playful way among children, creating a surrealist space of cartoons with puppets".

For his part, Antonio Lorenzo, director of production, thanked the enthusiasm and support shown to the company from the start by the different public administrations, both the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Cabildo of Gran Canaria as the Auditorium and Theater Foundation.
