The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands informs that from this Saturday, July 24, it is incorporated into the Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 young people from 16 years old, with the objective of expanding vaccination coverage among the population, so that from today the same population groups are vaccinated on all the islands.
From today they can, therefore, go to the mass vaccination points set up for the weekend without an appointment in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. In Gran Canaria you can go today until 6:00 p.m. to the Expomeloneras site in the south of the island or to the University Hospital of Gran Canaria Dr. Negrín; and in Tenerife, to the Santiago Martín pavilion until 9:00 p.m. and to the Hospital del Sur until 7:00 p.m.
Also in the afternoon you will be vaccinated without an appointment between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Fairgrounds, in the Annex to the Guajara Classroom of the ULL, in the Canarian University Hospital, in Magma, at the Candelaria Technological Center (Ctcan) and in the House of the Entrepreneur of Los Realejos .

Vaccination points without appointment in Gran Canaria for Sunday
Those over 16 years of age may go tomorrow Sunday to get vaccinated without prior appointment, between 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the south of the island, to Expomeloneras and in the capital, to the Pedro Hidalgo land of struggle.
Vaccination points without appointment in Tenerife for Sunday
In Tenerife, those over 16 years of age will be vaccinated without prior appointment from 09:00 to 20:30 both in the capital, in the Santiago Martín Pavilion, and in the south, in the South Hospital of the island until 19:00.
In addition, on Sunday between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. vaccines will be administered without an appointment at the Fairgrounds, in the Annex to the Guajara Lecture Hall of the ULL, in the University Hospital of the Canaries, in Magma), in the Candelaria Technological Center (Ctcan) and in the Entrepreneur House of Los Realejos.
At these vaccination points, they must present the health card and DNI / NIE, and the corresponding vaccine will be administered according to their age group, in accordance with the provisions of the Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19.
The objective of these appeals is to speed up and facilitate the vaccination process on Saturday and Sunday for the population that finds it more complex to attend by appointment, and due to the good results it is giving among the young population.
This system of vaccination without an appointment will be combined with the administration of doses by appointment according to the schedules established for the different age groups that are in the process of vaccination on each of the islands.
