The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for wind and bad sea in the Canary Islands for next Friday, March 8, and Saturday, day 9.
For the 8-M, International Women's Day, La Gomera and center of Gran Canaria they are the only points affected by the wind where wind gusts are expected that could reach 70 kilometers per hour, from 09.00 until the end of the day.
The yellow notice extends on Saturday where the whole of La Gomera, Lanzarote and the center, east, west and south of Gran Canaria will be on yellow notice for wind from early morning to 5:00 pm, as pointed out by the Aemet.
In addition, the entire coast of La Gomera, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and the east, west and south of Gran Canaria and Tenerife will be on Saturday in yellow notice coastal phenomena with a northeast wind, force 7.
By Friday, in the north of the islands of greater relief, there will be weak rains, especially in the first half of the day. On Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy skies with low probability of weak and scattered rains. The temperatures will register few changes.
Meanwhile, on Saturday there will be a low probability of weak rains at dawn, then tending to cloudy.
