The Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security is committed to having a "balanced presence" of women and men in all public events and events that it organizes.
This was published on Wednesday by the Official State Gazette (BOE) where instructions are issued so that in the public interventions in which this department participates have a "greater balance between women and men."
"The public events and events organized by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, its autonomous bodies and by the management entities and common services of the Social Security will incorporate the criterion of balance between women and men as an inspiring principle of the design and development of the different tables and interventions, "says the BOE.
A principle that will also affect the events sponsored and coordinated by the department as well as those held in its facilities.
In addition, the Ministry will prioritize the participation of its professionals in those forums that have an equal presence between men and women, a principle of participation that "should be reflected in the agreements that are held for the organization of events with other public administrations."
There will be periodic monitoring of compliance with these measures.
