Santo Domingo, Jun 23 (EFE) .- The Puerto Rican singer Wisin will receive the “Gold Award” on July 1, during the delivery of the Heat Latin Award, a gala held in eastern Dominican Republic, in recognition of his “influential and current professional career, “the organization of the event reported on Wednesday in a note.
“This will be a heartfelt tribute to the Gold Artist and his 18 years of successful career with which he has managed to remain one of the most listened to and greatest stars in the music industry,” highlights the statement on the sixth delivery of the aforementioned awards.
The reggaeton player is “one of the artists confirmed to light the stage of the Heat Latin Music Awards with all his talent and strength on stage, offering a unique performance of his greatest hits,” adds the note.
Wisin (Juan Luis Morera) has been a reference of the urban genre in the world since the late nineties thanks to his duet with Yandel.
In the sixth edition of the Heat Awards, Arcangel, Farina, El Alfa, Paola Jara, JD Pantoja, Emilia Mernes, Carin León, Alejandro Santamaría, N’klabe, Kalimete, among others, will also perform live.
