Berlin, March 5 (EFE) .- The international jury of the Berlinale announced today the winners of the Bears corresponding to the 71st edition, which was held in virtual format due to the imperative of the pandemic.
The following is the list of the main awards of this film festival, which will be presented in person and with the public in June.
Golden Bear: “Babardeala cu bucluc sau porno balamuc” (“Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn”, by Radu Jude (Romania)
Grand Jury Prize: “Guzen to sozo” (“Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy”), by Ryusuke Hamaguchi (Japan)
Jury’s Silver Bear: “Herr Bachmann und seine Klasse” (Mr Bachmann and His Class “, by Maria Speth (Germany)
Silver Bear for Best Director: Dénes Nagy, for “Természetes fény” (“Natural Light”) (Hungary)
Silver Bear for Best Performance: Maren Eggert, for “I’m your Man”, by Maria Schrader.
Silver Bear for best supporting performer: Lilla Kizlinger, for “Forest – I see you Everywhere”, by Bence Fliegauf (Hungary).
Silver Bear for Best Screenplay: “Introduction”, by Hong Sangsoo (South Korea)
Silver Bear to the artistic contribution: “A police film”, by Alonso Ruizpalacios (Mexico)
