Wimbledon Semifinal | Berrettini

The Italian Matteo berrettini will be the rival of the Polish Hubert Hurkacz in the semifinals of Wimbledon after beating the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, pupil of Toni Nadal, by 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 and 6-3.

The transalpine completes the semifinals of the tournament, in which Serbian Novak Djokovic and Canadian Denis Shapovalov will also face.

Berrettini, a champion a few weeks ago at Queen’s, cushioned 45 unforced errors with 33 winners and took advantage of a nervous Auger-Aliassime, who was contesting his first Grand Slam quarter-finals.

It will be the second official duel between Berrettini and Hurkacz, what defeated Roger Federer in three sets, after the first round of the Miami Masters 1,000 2019, where the Pole won.
