The users ofWhatsappthey will have more control over the group chats they access with a new configuration option that the company has introduced in the messaging application.
The new privacy optionallows you to establish who can add a user to a group chat, among three possibilities: 'nobody ',' my contacts' or 'all'.
In case of having activated any restriction that does not allow to add it to a group chat directly, the user will receive a private messagewith a link, which will allow you to join the group if you want. It will be active for 72 hours.
The Groups option has been introduced in the Privacy section of the configuration settings, and is available from Tuesday for some users, although the global deployment will be made in the coming weeks, according to VentureBeat.
