What people want is that there are agreements, not blocking

Alfaro (La Rioja), Feb 25 (EFE) .- The Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, José Luis Ábalos, stated this Thursday that, “clearly, what the people want is that there are agreements, not blockages”, in reference to the negotiations for the renewal of positions in RTVE and in the General Council of the Judicial Power (CGPJ).

In statements to journalists in Alfaro (La Rioja), where he has signed an agreement on the Urban Agenda, he added that, “beyond how it has been done and who will be there, the important thing is that the situation is unblocked “.

“Finally, the PP has considered that it is politically more profitable to reach agreements than to be in the blockade,” he stressed, because, “clearly, what people want is that there are agreements, not blockade, because what wears us all down they are the confronted positions without an option of agreement “, something that generates” a certain weariness “in the citizens.

For this reason, he hopes that “the first agreement will lead us to others” for the renewal of other judicial and constitutional bodies, “something to which we are obliged.”
