What is there beyond gender self-determination in the trans and LGTBI law that has already begun its process

The Law for the real and effective equality of trans people and for the guarantee of the rights of LGTBI people has begun its journey. After the very tough struggle between the Government partners, the Council of Ministers has given the green light to the rule, which will still have to go through the advisory bodies and will be subject to amendments in the Cortes before its final approval. All eyes, and also most of the negotiations during these months have focused on what was the main stumbling block: the gender self-determination of trans people, but the text also incorporates other measures for the LGTBI collective.
