La Graciosa, full

La Graciosa He plans to hang the entire poster this Easter from “next Wednesday or Thursday”, according to the forecast of the councilor of the Teguise City Council delegate on that island, Alicia paez. The eighth island will be one of the star destinations for the Canary Islands at this time and, a priori, the only one that will be “full” this holiday.

Until a few days ago, owners of apartments and catering businesses feared cancellations after the controversy generated as a result of the publication by the Government of the Canary Islands of the specific measures to limit mobility in the Archipelago, in which it was interpreted that a negative Active Diagnostic Test (PDIA) would be required for passengers residing in Lanzarote traveling to the eighth island. The Ministry of Health has already corrected the error and clarified that both islands are within the same epidemiological unit and, therefore, no test of these characteristics is required.

Of course, the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote, has assured this Friday the responsible counselor of that entity, Francisco Aparicio, it is expected to meet next Tuesday with members of the Civil Protection of Lanzarote to reinforce the monitoring of compliance with anticovid measures.
