The Spanish economy, despite the data of the International Monterey Fund yesterday that worsened the forecasts of unemployment, debt and deficit, has climbed one place in the world ranking of the countries with the highest Gross Domestic Product, from the fourteenth position to the thirteenth, after this year has overtaken Australia.

The Spanish GDP is located this year, according to the figures provided by the IMF, in 1.44 trillion dollars in 2018, compared to 1.31 in 2017 and 1.24 in 2016, so that it has been occurring sustained growth in recent years. In the sixth and seventh positions India and France are also fighting but, according to the interactive table that has made public the IMF, with forecasts until 2023, India will be placed in fifth place in the world ranking and France in the sixth, displacing the United Kingdom post -Brexit to seventh place.
