Gender consulting is experiencing a boom. Legislative developments in recent years force companies to have salary records by position and sex from April 14, also, in the case of the largest, to practice salary audits to eradicate the gender gap. Equality plans are progressively extended to companies with more than 50 people on staff and must be more comprehensive than they were before. The consequence is that hundreds of companies seek advice to design and develop those internal policies that are now required by law. But, what companies or consulting firms are in charge of doing this work? What background in equality do they have? Do they have specialized training in gender?
