Eight provinces of five autonomous communities of the Cantabrian coast are today on alert for coastal phenomena, one of them, Coruña, in orange level, reports the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) on its website.
Galicia presents orange alert in Coruña for coastal winds of southwest of force 8, with combined sea of the west with waves of 5 to 6 meters. The risk is yellow in Lugo, by swell of east or northwest with waves of 4 to 5 meters, and in Pontevedra, with combined sea of the west with waves of between 4 and 5 meters.
Yellow alert on the coast by west wind of force 7 and combined sea of the northwest with waves of 4 to 5 meters in Asturias, Cantabria and Vizcaya, and somewhat smaller, with combined sea of the northwest and waves of 4 meters in Guipúzcoa.
The yellow risk is for winds blowing from the south and southwest with maximum gusts of 80 kilometers per hour on the Cantabrian slope and the Pyrenees of Navarra.
