In the first vote, Vox has presented its own candidate to preside over the Bureau of Congress, Macarena Olona, general secretary of the parliamentary group. However, in the second round he voted in favor of the 'popular' deputy since he "had no opportunity to support any candidate of his group."
The Presidency of the Congress is settled in this second vote between the two candidates with the most support in the first round, the socialist Meritxell Batet and Ana Pastor, given that none has obtained an absolute majority at the first opportunity.
For the composition of the rest of the Bureau positions, Vox maintains its two candidates: Ignacio Gil Lázaro for the Vice Presidency and José María Figaredo for one of the Secretariats.
