The leader of the right-wing Vox party in the Community of Madrid, Rocío Monasterio, has registered a letter in the Assembly in which she urges the Governing Council to provide information on public and private schools in which informative activities have been carried out or formative on the LGTBI collective.

According to the Socialist deputy Carla Antonelli published in their social networks and have confirmed Efe sources of Vox, Monastery has presented this Thursday a letter in the Assembly of Madrid in which requests information to the Government Council of public and private schools in which the LGTBI collective Cogam has carried out informative, formative or other activities.

In the letter, Monasterio asks for the "date of celebration of the activity, the center in which it is carried out, the agenda or information transferred, brief description of the activity or experience from 2015 included until the current date, name and surname of the speaker or speakers and what the target class or classes have been. According to sources of the party, "there are no short-term actions planned in this regard," since the request for information is only for Vox's deputies "can start working."

Other petitions will be registered "in other areas," said the sources, who stress that the purpose of this letter and that of the subsequent ones is for the party's parliamentary group to begin its activity.

Last July 1, the right-wing party presented in the Valencian courts several requests for information to know the items in the budgets of 2018 and 2019 dedicated to courses, associations, conferences, reports or cultural centers related to the activity of LGTBI groups , and the data on "intrafamily violence, not only in relation to the violence exerted by men towards women".
