The airline Volotea has made more than 5,000 flights between the months of June and September and has increased by 30% its number of passengers compared to the previous summer, which has reached twenty million passengers in its seven years of activity.

With two bases in Bilbao and Asturias, Volotea also flies from Malaga, Alicante, Madrid, Santander, Seville, Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, Arrecife, Las Palmas, Valencia and Zaragoza.
In total, it operates 300 routes with more than 30 aircraft connecting medium-sized cities of thirteen countries.
In Spain, the company operates in 16 airports and expects to transport 1.5 million passengers in 2019.
