Volkswagen Canarias continues to be a sales leader in the first half of the year with 3,288 registrations, which is 12.9% above the market share of its competitors.
The German company also heads in the Islands sales of SUVs, halfway between atourismconventional and an all-rounder, with 1,158 units registered of the three models with what the brand has. This quota represents 10.8% of the total market for vehicle sales in the Canary Islands.
Another of the great milestones for the company has been the pre-sale of its first electric model – the ID. 3-, since in less than a week Volkswagen closed 15,000 reservations. An unprecedented event that was replicated in the archipelago, where the limited pre-sale units were sold out in two weeks.
