The German driver, four times world champion, announces his goodbye by surprise, before the Hungarian GP
Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel announced on Thursday his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of the 2022 season. The 35-year-old German driver, who drives this year for the Aston Martin team, won his titles with Red Bull between 2010 and 2013 and also spent six seasons with Ferrari.
Vettel announced his surprise departure ahead of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring.
