The state of Florida is the first customer within the United States, with 20% of total sales in this country, followed by California and New York, with 15% each, and Texas (10%).

Tempos Vega Sicilia produces a maximum of 1.5 million bottles per year, always depending on the harvest, distributed among all its wines that are distributed among its 4,000 customers in 115 countries around the world.

The Vega Sicilia customer list is closed -in some cases it is inherited- and there is a waiting list because the quality marks the volume of the bottle, which is usually stable and sometimes even goes down to preserve the quality of its wines.

Tempos Vega Sicilia is currently in New York to participate in the New York Wine Experience, one of the most important international fairs in the world, organized by the magazine Wine Spectator and which can only go to those wineries that are in the upper part of the annual classification.

The commitment to its internationalization and the recent reorganization of its external distribution system has allowed Vega Sicilia's sales outside of Spain to have gone from 35% to 65% in the last three years, so that it now depends less on the market national and its diversification better prepares the company to face eventual crisis situations.

In this way, the US will become in 2019 the first client of Tempos Vega Sicilia in the world followed by Mexico. In Europe, the most important customers are Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Germany.

Brands such as Único, Reserva Especial, Valbuena and Alión (Ribera del Duero), Pintia (Toro), Oremus (Tokaj, Hungary) and the Macán (Rioja) are already marketed in the United States, where there is great interest on the part of Collectors

On the other hand, Álvarez announced that Tempos Vega Sicilia will launch Petracs, a dry white wine, produced in the historic region of Tokaj (Hungary), considered the first appellation of origin in the world.

Vega Sicilia decided to buy the Hungarian Oremus winery in 1993 when the government of that country began a series of privatizations, after the fall of the communist regime, and considering that this historic region and its wines matched perfectly with the philosophy of Vega Sicilia.
