The Minister of Labor, Magdalena Valerio, explained that today she meets with the general secretaries of UGT and CCOO, Pepe Alvárez and Unai Sordo, respectively, and with the president of CEOE-CEPYME, Antonio Garamendi, to evaluate and evaluate the issues that are being addressed in the social dialogue.
In statements to TVE, Valerio said that it is about seeing what has been done in recent months since July 26 formally began the social dialogue with the socialist government.
Since then, he said, he has worked at a technical level in five tables that are talking about employment, social security, training, equality and fight against the underground economy.
The minister stressed that the Youth Employment Shock Plan came out of that dialogue, approved last Friday by the Council of Ministers, although Valerio has trusted that there may be more agreements on other issues that are on top of table.
Among them, the recovery of the ultraactivity of the agreements and the prevalence of the sectoral agreement on the company, as well as the amendment of Article 42 of the Workers' Statute to limit the subcontracting or regulation of the time schedule of the working day.
