Sales in the United States of the Ford group fell by 6.9% in November with the delivery of 196,303 vehicles, the manufacturer said today.
Ford said in a statement that the fall in demand was widespread, with losses in both the fleet sales market and that of individuals as well as in all segments of the sector.
The manufacturer said that the drop of 7.1% in fleet sales to rental companies was the result of the order cadence.
But sales to individuals, which reached 145,495 units, also experienced a reduction, estimated at 6.8%.
By segment, sales of vans decreased by 2.3% to 89,535 units, SUV SUVs by 4.9% to 70,564 units and those of saloons by 19.5% to 36,204 vehicles.
In the first 11 months of 2018, the Ford group delivered a total of 2,184,483 vehicles in the United States, 2.7% less than in the same period of the previous year.
