Unemployment grows in 16,000 people in the EU and 1,000 in the eurozone in January

The number of unemployed in the European Union (EU) increased by 16,000 people during January compared to December, while in the eurozone it rose by 1,000 individuals, as reported Tuesday by the community statistics office, Eurostat.

However, the unemployment rate of the Twenty-seven remained at 6.6% in the first month of 2020 compared to December last year, while in the countries of the common currency it also did not vary and remained at 7.4 %.
