UEFA suspends Champions League and Europa League

The meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, but UEFA did not want to wait to cancel its competitions.
The UEFA has decided to suspend its club, Champions League and Europa League competitions by the expansion of the coronavirus, still no resumption date. The Europa League matches between Spanish and Italian teams, Sevilla-Roma and Inter-Getafe that should have been played on Thursday had already been suspended, just like Manchester City-Real Madrid and Juventus-Lyon next week in the Champions.
UEFA has also suspended Youth League matches scheduled for March 17 and 18. As a consequence, the draws for all the competitions scheduled for next Friday, March 20 have also been suspended.
The representatives of the 55 federations that make it up have called a meeting by videoconference next Tuesday to decide what the next steps are.
