The sports direction of the UD Lanzarote continues working on the preparation of its staff facing the 2020/2021 season, a campaign in which he will compete again in the Canarian group of the Third Division. The red set has the signing of midfielder Dani González closed, player who despite his youth has extensive experience in the category and in which he has played more than fifty matches.
Daniel González Mendoza, born April 22, 2000, is a footballer playing in the midfield position. He is a very complete player in the center of the field, technically good, with sacrifice in teamwork, with a good position on the field of play and with a great vision of the game.
He was trained in the lower categories of Haría CF, club in which he entered the pre-baby stage and in which he remained until the cadet category. In the 2016/2017 season he was part of the Maritime Orientation in the Youth Honor Division, and the following season he returned to Haría CF to play in the Third Division. His good work allowed him to sign for Getafe CF in the 2018/2019 season and last year he returned to the Canary Islands to be part of the UD Ibarra sports project.
With only 20 years of age he has extensive experience in the Canarian group of the Third Divisionn. Last season in the ranks of UD Ibarra he played a total of 24 matches, 23 of them as a starter, being 1,891 minutes on the pitch. In the national category he has played a total of 55 matches.
Dani González becomes the fourth signing of the UD Lanzarote Looking ahead to the 2020/201 season and joins the additions of left back Javi Morales, inside Kevin Castro and attacking midfielder Adrián Machín. In the renewal chapter, the rojillo team has closed the continuity of goalkeepers Alejandro Martín and Ruymán Fernández, defender Raúl Fernández, striker Miguel Gómez, attacking midfielder Aythami Yebri, midfielder Ayoze Pérez and striker Rosmen.
