Health professionals at the Complexo Hospitalario Universitario de Santiago (CHUS) have reported to the Prosecutor's Office the death of two patients in the corridors of the emergency service in the day of last day two from January.
This was reported on Friday by the emergency doctor of the CHUS and delegate of Prevention of the staff meeting, Fátima Nercellas, who explained that on this same day has informed the public prosecutor of these facts. Further, has assured that the Prosecutor's Office "opened informative proceedings" before this complaint.
Fatima Nercellas has participated this Friday with two other professionals of the emergency in a day of health organized by the BNG, PSdeG and En Marea in parallel to the commission of research on the health system launched in the Galician Chamber.
In his speech, the doctor explained that in the day of day 2 there were "four patients in a stop" in the emergency corridors, spaces in which up to "29 patients" were accumulated.
