A 62 year old man has died today in the Asturian town of Lloreo, council of Laviana, for a Landslide who has reached the vehicle in which he was standing picking up another person, as reported by the Emergency Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPA). He is the first dead man by temporary cold and rain that hits the Peninsula.
In the detachment, one of the many that have occurred in Asturias since yesterday because of the heavy rains, has occurred at around 8:00 am and caused slight injuries to two other men 65 and 56 years old who have been transferred to Valle del Nalón Hospital. The detachment reached the vehicle, which ended up overturned after falling through a drop of four meters.
Also in Asturias, he has died another man of 42 years when leaving the road with the vehicle that was driving on a forest track and fall down a slope about 500 meters in the vicinity of the Curiscao wind farm, in the council of Salas, at a time when there was intense fog.
The Emergency Coordination Center of 112 Asturias received the notice at 01:41 this morning.
Some co-workers of the deceased explained that they had gone up to look for him after being surprised that he did not arrive at his house and they explained that he had fallen down a slope with a lot of unevenness.
