Two deaths, 151 infections and 188 medical discharges from Covid-19 registered

The Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government has registered two new deaths by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, as well as 151 infections and 188 medical discharges, bringing active cases to 6,718 on the islands, 39 less than on Tuesday.

In hospitals there are 214 people admitted for this disease, of which 62 are in intensive care units, two more than the day before, and 212 hospitalized in the ward, six less.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have been registered in the Canary Islands 12,353 infections, of which 219 have died and 5,416 have received medical discharge.

In Gran Canaria there are 4,741 active cases, in Tenerife 1,632, in Lanzarote 220, in Fuerteventura 99, in La Gomera 16, in El Hierro 7 and in La Palma 3.
