Tsunami warning for a magnitude 6.9 earthquake in the southern Philippines
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning on Wednesday caused by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake that shook the sea southeast of the island of Mindanao in the southern Philippines today.
"There is a tsunami threat for areas near the earthquake," the agency said in a statement.
