The president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, will give a lecture next Monday at Stanford's Californian university on "civil rights and self-determination" of Catalonia and during his trip to the United States he will visit companies established in Silicon Valley.
As reported by the Generalitat, Torra has been invited to give a lecture by Professor Clayborne Carson, who is the director of the Martin Luther King Jr Research and Education Institute, Stanford University.
The Catalan president will explain the "procés" to the university community with a conference entitled "Civil rights and self-determination: a Catalan perspective".
On Tuesday 15, Torra will travel to Silicon Valley and, accompanied by the Councilor for Enterprise and Knowledge, Àngels Chacón, will visit companies established in this region of California, which is at the forefront of innovation.
During his trip to the United States, Torra will also hold political meetings in Idaho and Washington.
