Todó says now that he did not participate in the vote where a salary increase was agreed

The ex-director general of CatalunyaCaixa Adolf Todó has assured today that he did not participate in the vote of the board of directors held on January 19, 2010 in which he approved one of the two salary increases for which he judges the Audiencia de Barcelona.
In his testimony before the court, Todó wanted to make a "nuance" to the testimony he gave in the investigation phase and has ensured that, after having reviewed what happened with the former president of the entity Narcís Serra and the former director Jaume Massana, both he was "reminded" that when he started talking about his salary increase, Serra himself asked him to leave the room, and that when he was sent back to the meeting, the salary increase had already been "approved".
In that meeting it was agreed to increase the fixed salary of Adolf Todó by 100,000 euros - from 700,000 to 800,000 euros - and its variable from 35 to 50%.
On the other hand, Todó, who signed as general director of the entity in 2008, has admitted to the prosecutor having participated in the vote in which the second salary increase was agreed upon, which was approved at the meeting of the board of directors of October 13, months after the FROB injected 1,250 million euros in the entity.
