The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees for today, Sunday, strong winds in the Asturian coast and northern Galicia, in addition to snowfall in the Pyrenees and the Cantabrian at quite low levels, while temperatures will drop in the northern third.

Increasing cloudiness in the Cantabrian Sea, Pyrenees and the rest of the northeast of Catalonia, with generally weak rainfall at the end of the day.

Cloudy intervals and probable light showers in the Balearic Islands. Cloudy intervals in the environment of the Strait. Little cloudy or clear in the Ebro Valley and the rest of the Mediterranean coast.

In the rest of the Peninsula, cloudiness increased throughout the day, but without precipitation. In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals, partly of evolution and low probability of some weak precipitation.

CANTABRIA: little cloudy at dawn, increasing to cloudy or overcast throughout the morning with weak precipitation in the afternoon that will intensify towards the end of the day and that will be less frequent and intense in the extreme south. Snow level over 1,300 meters at the beginning, going down to 600-700 at the end. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures in decline. Weak frosts in mountain areas. Variable light wind tending north and northeast, increasing in the afternoon.

BASQUE COUNTRY: Slightly cloudy at first, increasing to cloudy or overcast from noon onwards with weak afternoon rainfall that will intensify towards the end of the day and will be unlikely in the extreme south. Snow level down to 600-700 at the end of the day. Minimum temperatures with few changes and maximum temperatures in decline, less pronounced on the coast. Variable light wind tending to the north component, increasing in the afternoon.

CASTILLA Y LEÓN: In the north third, not very cloudy with some interval of low clouds increasing from noon to overcast, with rains or showers in the northwest, and with precipitations in the mountainous northeast. In the rest, little cloudy tending to cloudy or overcast, without ruling out an isolated and occasional shower in mountain areas. Snow level above 1,500 meters dropping at the end of the day to 700 meters in the north and 1,400 in the south. NAVARRA: little cloudy or clear at first, except for low cloud intervals in the Cantabrian basin, increasing in the northwest and Pyrenees to cloudy or covered in the afternoon with light rainfall, which will intensify towards the end of the day. Snow level over 1,300 meters at the beginning, going down to 600-700 at the end. Minimum temperatures with slight changes, which will be descents in the north and ascents in the south; highs unchanged in the south and declining in the rest. Wind from the north and northwest in the south half, occasionally strong in the afternoon, and in the other areas, variable loose tending to the north component.

LA RIOJA: little cloudy increasing from noon to cloudy skies with probability of showers or scattered showers at the end of the day, mainly in the Iberian. Snow level above 1,500 meters, falling at the end of the day to about 800. Minimum temperatures in a slight rise, and maximums in a slight decrease. Weak frosts in the mountains. Light north and northwest wind increasing in intensity in the afternoon.

ARAGÓN: in the Pyrenees, slightly cloudy with low cloud intervals in the divide in the morning, tending to cloudy skies from noon, more abundant in the divide where in the afternoon precipitation is expected that could spread to other areas more scattered, most likely in the easternmost sector. Snow level falling from 1,400 to 1,000-1,200 meters. In the rest, predominance of skies with little cloud or clear with cloudiness of daytime evolution in the Iberian where it will tend to cloudy in the afternoon. Rising temperatures. Weak frosts in the Pyrenees and in Iberian points. Moderate northwest wind in the Ebro valley and light in the rest.

CATALONIA: in the Pyrenees, slightly cloudy with low cloud intervals and tending to cloudy or covered on the north western slope, where precipitation is expected that could spread to other areas in a more dispersed way. In the rest, slightly cloudy sky, tending to cloudy and with clouds of diurnal evolution in the afternoon in the northern half, where scattered showers are expected. Snow level around 1,400-1,600 meters. in general and dropping to 1,000-1,200 on the northern slopes of the western Pyrenees. Minimum temperatures without major changes and maximum temperatures on the rise, except in the Aran where they will drop. Variable light wind, with moderate northwestern intervals at both ends of the coastline.

EXTREMADURA: little cloudy with cloudiness of evolution, and low probability of some weak, isolated and occasional shower. Temperatures in slight rise. Variable weak winds.

MADRID: little cloudy or clear increasing at noon to cloudy in the Sierra and the cloudiness extending to the rest in the afternoon. Rising temperatures. Variable slack wind.

CASTILLA-LA MANCHA: little cloudy or clear increasing from noon to cloudy. Temperatures on the rise that will be locally notable from the highs in the southwest of Albacete, although the lows in Albacete and in flat areas of Ciudad Real will remain unchanged. Weak frosts in the eastern mountains. Variable light wind tending in central hours to the west and northwest in the eastern half.

VALENCIAN COMMUNITY: sky is not very cloudy in general, with some clouds with daytime evolution in the afternoon and without ruling out weak and scattered precipitation in the northern interior. MURCIA: slightly cloudy skies, with cloudiness of daytime evolution inside. Minimum temperatures unchanged, with light frosts in the northwest; highs on the rise. Loose northwest winds, turning southwest and increasing on the shoreline.

BALEARES: cloudy intervals with an occasional shower that could be accompanied by a storm, preferably in the southeast and inland of Mallorca in the afternoon, later tending to little cloud. Nighttime temperatures with little change and daytime temperatures on the rise. Loose north component winds turning to west component in the afternoon.

ANDALUSIA: skies with cloudy intervals, with low clouds and morning mists in the interior and evolution cloudiness in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures in descent and maximum in ascent in the Mediterranean slope, and without changes or slight ascent in the rest, with light frosts in the eastern interior. Variable winds weak, with predominance of the East component in the western half in the morning. Lift in the Strait tending to loose variable.

CANARY ISLANDS: cloudy intervals increasing to cloudy inland, in the afternoon, when some weak and occasional rain is not ruled out. Temperatures unchanged or slightly rising. Variable light wind with prevalence of breezes.
