The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) foresees for today, Friday, snowfalls in high areas of the northern half of the peninsula, night temperatures rising in the interior and daytime in decline, with values ​​below normal for the time on the Atlantic slope and Mediterranean Andalusia.

In the Atlantic and Cantabrian western slopes, as well as in the Mediterranean Andalusia, cloudy skies or covered with generalized precipitations are expected, that will be more frequent in the western coast of Galicia and without discarding some occasional storm.

The cloudiness and precipitation will spread throughout the day to the rest of the Peninsula, and may also affect the Balearic Islands and tend to remit in central and south-western areas of the peninsula.

They could be locally strong or persistent in the south of the Pyrenees, area of ​​the Strait and west of Galicia, while they will be weaker and less likely in the eastern Cantabrian, the Ebro valley, the east of the Balearic Islands and the south-east peninsular coast. In the Canary Islands, rains in the north and the probability of occasional showers in the south of the mountainous islands.
