Seville, Feb 28 (EFE) .- The singer Raphael has expressed his enthusiasm for the distinction of Favorite Son of Andalusia that he will receive this Sunday on the occasion of Andalusia Day and has assured through social networks that he can not be more happy.
On his Twitter account, Raphael (Linares, Jaén, 1943) explained this week that he could not be more excited about this recognition, the highest distinction awarded in Andalusia on the occasion of 28F.
“Those of you who know me know what this appointment means to me,” said the singer, who highlighted the coincidence with his sixty years in music.
“Thank you my Andalusia of the soul. I hope to be at the height of being your Favorite Son”, has expressed the Linarian in a comment that accompanies a photograph of one of his concerts in which the Andalusian flag shines.
The appointment was announced last Monday by the president of the Board, Juanma Moreno, who highlighted his value as “world-class from Linar del Río and Andalusian.”
