The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) foresees for today, Tuesday, locally strong or persistent rainfall in Galicia, rise in daytime temperatures in the eastern Cantabrian and decrease in the rest of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.

In Galicia, the sky will be cloudy or covered with precipitations that could be accompanied by a storm and that, at the beginning of the day, will be locally strong or persistent.

In the rest of the Atlantic slope of the Peninsula, east of the Balearic Islands, the Pyrenees and the rest of northern Catalonia the sky will be cloudy or with cloudy intervals and precipitation, which will be more likely in general in the central hours of the day and without ruling out that they can be accompanied locally and occasionally storm.

In most of the Ebro valley and in the southern part of the Mediterranean area, precipitation is not expected. In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals are expected, with the possibility of some weak precipitation.

The level of snow on the Peninsula will be about 1,100 / 1,300 m. in the Cantabrian; 1,300 / 1,500 m. in the Pyrenees; 1,500 m., Down to 1,100 / 1,300 m. in the Central and Iberian systems, and around 1,500 / 1,700 in the south.

Snow level between 1,000 / 1,200 meters, although in central hours it will rise to 1,400 / 1,600 meters. Mists or morning fog banks in high heights of the southwest corner. Minimum temperatures with few changes; maximum in ascent, except in the extreme southwest where they will remain unchanged. Weak frosts in high areas of the extreme southwest. BASQUE COUNTRY: Cloudy at first, rising to cloudy, with showers and generalized showers starting at noon, occasionally with a storm, remitting in the afternoon except in the extreme northeast. Minimum temperatures in slight decrease in the littoral and without changes in the rest; maximum on the rise, except in the southern tip of Araba, where they will remain unchanged.
