Titirimundi festival postponed to the third week of September

The XXXIV Segovia International Puppet Festival (Titirimundi) has postponed its celebration this year due to the coronavirus crisis, so it will go from being held in May, as planned, to taking place from September 21, as reported by this Friday the organization of the event.

Through its Facebook page, the puppet festival has regretted this measure, taken into consideration in the face of “the situation that exists worldwide and prudence in the face of this pandemic.”

“If we who are close to the true puppeteers know anything (…) it is that art and life are united, that one hardly exists without the other, and that we live in continuous uncertainty, where nothing is controllable”, continues the message on the networks.

Given the current circumstances, the festival has decided to adapt to the health crisis and postpone this year’s edition, in which 34 companies from twelve countries are expected to perform.
