The forest fires registered in the last hours in the municipalities of A Gudiña, Nogueira de Ramuín and Verín in Ourense have been extinguished today after burning 246.79 hectares, reports the Ministry of Rural Environment of the Xunta.
Another fire is also controlled from 16.55 in the same province, specifically in the municipality of Muíños, in the parish of Requiás, which affects the O Xurés natural park.
The flames affect 18.89 hectares of scrubland from 22.05 hours on Thursday and fourteen agents, 32 brigades, ten motorboats, one shovel, six helicopters and three aircraft work on its extinction.
At 8:46 a fire was extinguished in the parish of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil, which had begun at 9:10 p.m. on Thursday at three different points.
It razed 173,13 hectares, of which 32,26 are of woodland and 140,87 hectares, of satin, after the efforts of two technicians, eight agents, 34 brigades, sixteen motorboats, one shovel, five helicopters and one plane.
A minute before, at 20:45, the flames of A Gudiña were extinguished, which started in two bulbs in the parish of Barxa at 8:28 pm yesterday.
He burned 36.56 hectares, five of the forest and the rest, of trees, in spite of the activity of ten agents, seventeen brigades, eleven motorboats, two shovels and a helicopter.
At 20:30 hours the forest fire that had begun at 17.11 yesterday yesterday in the parish of Ábedes, Verín, ended.
The affected hectares were 37.1 hectares, of which 17.1 are wooded hills, and a technician, eight agents, seventeen brigades, nine motorboats, one shovel, six helicopters and three aircraft worked on its extinction.
The extinguished forest fires burned 246.79 hectares while others remain 18.89 still in flames, for a total of 265.68.
