Google has just introduced a feature that will make it much easier for millions of Gmail users. And from now on we will have a contextual menu full of useful functions just a click away. With the simple gesture of clicking on the right button and we can access options such as answering or forwarding emails.
The company has just shown in its blog the new contextual menu that will be accessible with the right mouse button. Until now, clicking the right button on one of the emails, Gmail only gave us the option of "move to the folder", "archive", "mark as unread" or "delete".
The new functionality of Gmail incorporates many more practical options to this contextual menu, something that without a doubt all the users of the service will be grateful.
As explained from Google, with these new options we can respond or resend an email in a click from the home page to find all the emails of a sender, search all emails with the same subject, open multiple emails in multiple new windows at the same time and add a tag or move an email.
These options can now be done but for this we have to make several clicks, entering the email and clicking them from there. With the new functionality announced by Google, we can do it with a single step.
This new context menu can be opened with the right mouse button, or by clicking "Ctrl + click" on Mac keyboards or the menu key on Windows keyboards.
The new contextual menu is available to all users as of February 22
According to the information provided by Google, the new feature was gradually deployed yesterday in the fast launch domains, while the rest will receive the update of the program as of February 22, 2019. For G Suite users this Novelty is available in all editions.
