Elsa Ramos, an eight-year-old transsexual girl from Arroyo San Serván (Badajoz), left speechless on Tuesday to the politicians who make up the Assembly of Extremadura during the celebration of the fourth School Plenary against bullying by LGBTIphobia.

"I am a transsexual girl and for the past 4 years I have lived the path of my happiness. I have been lucky to be born in my town. Keep making laws so that nobody takes away our happiness, ”explained little Elsa to the deputies of the Assembly of Extremadura.

Elsa's speech, part of the organization ‘Triangle Foundation’, overwhelmed the deputies present at the Assembly of Extremadura. His name already resonated on the same stage four years ago, when his mother intervened from the same stage: "Four years ago my mother came and was telling what my story was," said the youngest.

Later, the eight-year-old girl took the opportunity to thank her classmates to "understand" what it is like "from day one": "However, it is still necessary to remember that I have the right to be called as I feel and that, four years later, mistakes are a bit weird. As if someone could doubt that I am a trans girl. ”

Finally, Elsa ended his speech with a call to politics to continue making laws that recognize diversity: “Above all, transgender people have the right to be who we are”he pointed out.
