A Grancanario footballer of the Third Division of futsal has been sanctioned with 13 suspension matches for assaulting an arbitrator during the course of the game AD CD Adassa Costa Teguise and FS Tecnasa "A" that concluded with the result of 4-5 in favor of the visiting team.
In addition to the player's suspension, the Tecnasa team must pay a fine of 195 euros, according to the agreement adopted at its last meeting by the FIFLP Competition and Discipline Committee.
As stated in the minutes, the aggression against the collegiate, who did not require health care, occurred in the absence of 11 minutes after the end of the match, when the soccer player Alejandro Cristofe M. D. attacked one of the referees by shooting him elbow in the forehead which caused a slight swelling.
The resolution of the disciplinary committee of the FIFLP adds that the aggressor had to be held by several players as he intended to continue assaulting one of the members.
The suspension of 13 meetings for the footballer of FS Tecnasa "A" is based on those established in article 137.4.a of the Disciplinary Code of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
