Two strangers have taken off from the balcony of the Town Hall of Cervera (Lleida) a banner in support of the imprisoned politicians, which has already been replaced by the mayor himself, hours before the celebration of the victory of Marc Márquez in the moto GP championship in his hometown.
Through its Twitter account, the group "Groc Enlloc" (yellow nowhere) has claimed the action and has posted a video that shows two people picking up this night, with the help of a stick, the banner with the motto "Llibertat political prisoners" that hung from the balcony of the consistorial building.
Speaking to Catalunya Ràdio, the mayor of Cervera, Ramon Royes, from the PDeCAT, explained that the local police have identified the authors of the action, who are not residents of the municipality, and indicated that he himself has replaced this morning the banner removed.
In his Twitter account, "Groc Enlloc" defends his action and announces that, thanks to the withdrawal of the banner, "Marc Márquez could, now, celebrate his world championship."
Precisely, Márquez will celebrate his fifth MotoGP world victory this afternoon in his hometown, although for the second year in a row he will not be on the balcony of the City Hall.
