They sanction La Polla Records with 6,000 euros for not respecting sanitary regulations



Alava punk rock band La Polla Records has been sanctioned by Basque government with fines totaling 6,000 euros for failing to comply with the health regulations for the prevention of covid-19 in two concerts held in Vitoria on the 17th and 18th of last December.

The Department of Health confirmed this Friday that has imposed the maximum sanction on the musical group, a total of 3,000 euros for each concert. In this way, those responsible for the tour will have to pay a total of 6,000 euros to the public treasury for committing the same infractions in both events: not demanding at the entrance the covid passport and supporting documentation, and failing to comply with the mandatory use of face mask.

The complaint was sent by the Security Department of the Basque Government and it confirms the commission of these infractions in the actions carried out on December 17 and 18, 2021 in the Buesa Arena Pavilion in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

In a statement, the Ministry of Health recalls that on both dates Euskadi he was in health emergency situation, which entails the application of the sanctioning procedure contemplated in Basque Law 2/2021, of June 24, on measures for the management of the covid-19 pandemic. Based on this rule, two fines of 3,000 are imposed for each concert, for which it is classified as a serious offense to a lesser degree.
