They sanction an old man who went out to “hunt pokemon” in Madrid

The Municipal Police of Madrid filed a sanction last Sunday to a 77-year-old man in the district of Latina for skipping the state of alarm, since he alleged that he had taken to the streets to “hunt pokemon”.

The man did not respect the regulations and at 1:15 p.m. he was intercepted at number 31 Calle Quero by a patrol of the Madrid Municipal Police.

When requested by the agents, he alleged that he was on the street “hunting pokemon” and was punished for moving without permission and for disobeying the authority.

Last Sunday this body fined 664 people for failing to comply with the traffic restrictions decreed in the state of alarm, according to municipal sources told Efe.
