They resume the search for the sailor disappeared in the wreck of Sen Querer Dos

Salvamento Marítimo has taken up early this morning the search for the missing sailor after the wreck of "Sen Querer Dos", based in Portonovo (Pontevedra), four and a half miles from Cabo Fisterra (A Coruña).

The entity under the Ministry of Development has informed Efe that the operation is made up of the Helimer 402, Sasemar 112, and Civil Protection of Finisterre and Carnota, while the multi-purpose vessel Don Inda remained overnight in the area, where he has continued with the work of sounding.

The Tabarca patrol boat, of the Navy, is also in place.

The tracking is being concentrated in the area of Corcubión's sine, Salvamento said.

The City of Cambados (Pontevedra), governed by Fátima Abal, has decreed three days of mourning for this tragic shipwreck of "Sen Querer Dos", one of the best and most robust ships of the siege of Galicia, and at noon there will be a minute of silence before the consistory, where the flags wave at half mast.

Three of the deceased, all of them parents, were from this municipality; the skipper, Manuel Serén, and the sailors Teófilo Rodríguez and Bernardino Padín, as well as the missing person, Guillermo Casais, and, like them, also one of the six survivors.

The cause of this unfortunate misfortune is not yet known, but a more powerful hypothesis is being investigated: a heavy blow of the sea, pending the investigation and the declaration before the Civil Guard in the next hours of the sailors. who have managed to preserve their lives, have detailed Efe sources of the environment.

The ship was returning home, after having been fishing, so that the crew would spend the Christmas holidays with theirs.

This morning a second shipwreck in Malpica (A Coruña), also in Costa da Morte, has left another mortal victim, the skipper of the fishing boat.

These two tragedies in the sea, which took place in less than twenty-four hours, have once again colored Galicia in mourning. AND
