Bernardo Montoya, the confessed murderer of Laura Luelmo, has converted the nursing module of the Huelva Prison into a powder keg. The officials of Penitentiary Institutions denounce that they do not comply with sufficient security measures to house an inmate of these characteristics and ask that he be transferred to another center.
Montoya, 50, is in custody accused of kidnapping, raping and killing the 26-year-old Zamora teacher. In an individual cell, guarded at all times by a shadow prisoner, far from the rest of the inmates, Bernardo Montoya only leaves the patio two hours a day.
The man declared before the judge and the UCO investigators that he felt a strong attraction towards his victim. According to his story, he forced her into his car, tried to rape her and knocked her unconscious after hitting him on the head, but the autopsy revealed that he did suffer sexual assault and died two days after his disappearance. Even though the murderer's couple that does not seem to mind.
The woman is serving a sentence in the prison of Huelva in which they met and the same day that Laura died they had a private meeting.
Since the man entered the prison again he has tried to communicate several times with him through messages written on papers, through the windows, so they have been forced to change him to another cell in another wing of the center.
