The National Geographical Institute has registered three new seismic tremors that have taken place between last night of Tuesday and early morning of this Wednesday, January 23.
On this occasion the earthquakes have been located to the northwest of La Gomera and in Tenerife. Specifically in the area of the usual swarm of Vilaflor de Chasna south of Teide and under the coast of Puertito de Güímar, southeast of the Island.
The first earthquake, the of greater magnitude, with 2.8 mbLg, It has occurred to 8 kilometers of depth of the sea near the northwest of La Gomera, at 23.09 pm last Tuesday night.
The next two semos have taken place in Tenerife. The first has been repeated in the usual swarm of Vilaflor de Chasna, with 1.9 of magnitude. The second, occurred at 9.57 am this morning, with the same magnitude and 20 kilometers deep under the coast of Puertito de Güímar, in the southeast of the island.
