They launch a video against child poverty

The Government has presented this Saturday the campaign # RompeElCírculo to raise awareness about child poverty and has done so with a video in which musicians, actresses and athletes who denounce a drama that affects 2.3 million children in Spain.

The campaign, promoted by the High Commissioner against Child Poverty and disseminated in the different institutional platforms, seeks the involvement of the citizenship against child poverty and has the disinterested support in the video of musicians, such as Alejandro Sanz; athletes, such as Pau Gasol and Saúl Craviotto; the actresses Paz Vega, María Esteve and Natalia Verbeke and the former national soccer coach, Vicente del Bosque.

For a minute, the protagonists of the video complain that "child poverty points you, marks you and accuses you" and what is worse "follows you, is inherited and transmitted" in a circle that all of them advocate breaking up.

"Child poverty does not let you grow, does not let you laugh and does not let you play" say in the video the celebrities who support this campaign in which they stress that this scourge is undeniably linked to "fear, malnutrition and school failure".
