"We denounce and condemn before the international community and the Bolivian people that the fascist coup plan executes violent acts with irregular groups that set fire to the house of governors of Chuquisaca and Oruro and my sister in that city," Morales said in his Twitter account.
The president, who on Saturday called the opposition to set up a dialogue table in search of the pacification of the country, called for "peace and democracy" to be preserved.
According to videos published by militants of the official Movement to Socialism (MAS) and inhabitants of Oruro, in western Bolivia, a group of people looted and burned the house of the governor, Víctor Hugo Vásquez.
"I want to denounce to the international community that my property suffered an attack," said the governor of Chuquisaca, Esteban Urquizu, who also wrote: "We want peace!"
