The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, denounced on Saturday that his sister's house in the city of Oruro was set on fire, as well as the homes of the governors of the homonymous region and Chuquisaca, amid the strong protests that spread throughout Several parts of the country.

"We denounce and condemn before the international community and the Bolivian people that the fascist coup plan executes violent acts with irregular groups that set fire to the house of governors of Chuquisaca and Oruro and my sister in that city," Morales said in his Twitter account.

According to videos published by militants of the official Movement to Socialism (MAS) and inhabitants of Oruro, in western Bolivia, a group of people looted and burned the house of the governor, Víctor Hugo Vásquez.

"I want to denounce to the international community that my property suffered an attack," said the governor of Chuquisaca, Esteban Urquizu, who also wrote: "We want peace!"
